The Lumen Center

For the study of Christianity and Culture

The Lumen Center, launching in summer 2024, is a community of Christian scholars working at the intersection of Christianity and culture. Our work is intended to build intellectual bridges between the academy and the church.

The Lumen Center scholars research, teach, and mentor students together at the intersection of Christianity and culture. Located at University Square on the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus, The Lumen Center is made up of staff and fellows who represent diverse disciplines and Christian traditions, united by a commitment to a faith-informed life of the mind and engagement with contemporary academic conversations.
